Clerk/RMS (Fixed Term contract up to 3 months)
Ref: R7/139T – based in Edinburgh
35 hours per week
Starting salary: £23,562 per annum (pro rata)

This is a varied role. Responsibilities include:

  • Dealing with all types of queries from members via telephone and written communications
  • The upkeep of our computerised membership system
  • Checking, coding, inputting and amending
  • Producing regular reports
  • Potentially assisting in delivery of training & learning support with branches
  • Assessing basic IT needs and solutions
  • First Line Support for membership application and simple technical issues
  • Reception duties
  • Taking meeting room bookings and generating invoices
  • Organising large bulk mailings
  • Maintaining office petty cash and writing cheques

Working as part of our Membership Team, experience of working with computer based systems required along with a good telephone manner, accuracy and working to deadlines. Training will be provided on our systems.
